The KHD-16 is a compact three-phase dry steam generator designed for conveyor belt cleaning
and general industrial sanitation applications.
Drain Down (Mandatory Daily Procedure)
Drain down must be carried out at the start of each day of use, or after 8 hours of operation — whichever occurs sooner.
Drain down removes water and suspended limescale from the pressure vessel before it can harden into scale deposits.
Performing this simple maintenance step regularly improves reliability and helps prevent blocked valves,
leaks and premature component wear.
- Perform drain down when the machine is cool and depressurised
- Ensure the pressure gauge reads 0 bar
- The machine must be powered off
- Best practice is to complete this procedure at the start of each shift
Pistol Grip Setup
The pistol grip hose is supplied with the steam generator for general cleaning and accessory use.
Steam flow is controlled directly using the trigger.
White Hose Setup (Other Applications)
The white steam hose can be used for general steam cleaning applications where a KHD attachment
such as a belt cleaner is not required.
